Each of us creates culture every time we speak the truth and share our new ideas with people. 

Culture is not frozen in time.

  

Yet paradoxically, in a traumatized land struggling to adapt to a rapidly changing world without ever having acknowledged its turbulent recent past, nostalgia for an imagined past is strategically used to orchestrate the masses between docility, fear, and blind nationalism.

People who are truly alive create culture every minute of every day, but too many people feel beholden to an ancient past, and they are unwilling, unable, or too afraid to raise any questions about the present or the future.
