Blood on the Highway

There are deep-seated patterns of shortsighted behavior in Cambodia that are not only incompatible with the demands of a modern society, they are utterly dangerous and potentially deadly. This reckless conduct is a clear consequence of living in a society that actively discourages creative & critical thinking. Until personal accountability and forethought are respected and promoted, Cambodia will always be sadly stuck on the fringe of civilization.
Cambodia’s roads are the Killing Fields of today. Nothing will improve until its citizens accept responsibility for themselves and willingly respect the lives of others.
